In 1970, the one-man company 'Convertino Vito' was established, specialising in the trade of building and steel materials. Over the years, the company was handed down to his sons. The building sector was taken over by his brother Giuseppe, while Francesco Convertino specialised in the iron and steel sector, dealing in the following materials:
